Foresight Technology VCT plc
Offer for Subscription Extended
On 15 October the Foresight launched a new fund by way of
an Offer for Subscription of up to 20,000,000 'C' Shares
(with 'C' Warrants attached on a one for five basis) at
an issue price of 100p per share with a first closing
date of 3 December 1999.
At the first closing date Foresight had received valid
subscriptions for £11.2 million. The Directors of
Foresight have decided to extend the Offer for
Subscription until 31 January 2000.
Commenting on the amount raised to date Peter Dicks,
Chairman of Foresight Technology VCT plc, stated:
'We are delighted with the significant response received
to date from the launch of this new sector-specific fund,
formed to invest in a portfolio of fast growing UK
technology-based companies. We our confident that this
new fund will follow on from the success of Foresight's
existing portfolio, also advised by the experienced
technology investors VCF Partners. Due to the success to
date, and to satisfy anticipated additional investor
demand, the Directors have decided to extend the offer
period until 31 January 2000.'
