TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of Foresight Technology VCT plc announces that on 11 October 2005 the
Company purchased for cancellation 250,000 'C' shares of 1p at a price of 96.50p
per share.

Following this purchase there are now 35,906,091 'C' shares of 1p in
issue.
