Directorate Changes
Forterra plc is pleased to announce that Martin Sutherland will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from the close of the AGM on 23 May 2017. Martin Sutherland is the Chief Executive Officer of De La Rue plc. Prior to joining De La Rue in 2014, Martin held senior management roles at BAE Systems plc and Detica plc.
In addition, following the announcement that an affiliate of Lone Star Funds has sold all of its remaining holding in the Company, under the terms of the Relationship Agreement between the Company and such affiliate of Lone Star, Bradley Boggess and Richard "Chip" Cammerer Jr have both resigned as Directors of the Company with immediate effect. The Relationship Agreement has now also terminated.
Following the above resignations, resolutions 10 and 11 seeking the re-election of both Brad and Chip which were to be voted upon at the AGM will now be withdrawn.
There are no other details to disclose under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
The search for a further Independent Non-Executive Director is underway and an announcement will be made when appropriate.
