          Sale of entire shareholding in Original Shoe Company Limited

Sports Direct International plc (the Company) announces that it has today agreed
to sell its interest in Original Shoe Company Limited (OSC), the branded
clothing and footwear retailer, to JJB Sports plc for £5 million in cash. The
sale is expected to complete on 28 January 2008.
