                 Final Dividend 2010 Exchange Rate Announcement
The Board of Directors of Fresnillo plc confirms that the deadline for the
receipt of currency elections in respect of the 2010 final dividend will be
Wednesday 4 May 2011 at 1700 hours. The exchange rate to convert the 2010 final
dividend into UK sterling will be calculated at close of business on Thursday 5
May 2011 and announced shortly thereafter. The 2010 final dividend will be paid
on Friday 20 May 2011 to shareholders on the register on 3 May 2011.
