FRESNILLO PLC (the "Company")

PLACING OF 19,733,430 NEW ORDINARY SHARES

Further to the announcement on 29 April 2013, the Company confirms that it has made applications for Admission of 19,733,430 new ordinary shares of US$0.50 each (the "Placing Shares") to the premium segment of the Official List of the UKLA and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.

The Placing is expected to close and Admission is expected to become effective on 3 May 2013. The Placing shares have been issued at a price of £11.30 each.
