Appoints Director of Marketing from Google
Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV; "Frontier" or the "Company"), a leading independent creator of video games, is pleased to announce the non-Board appointment of Stewart Stanbury as the Company's Director of Marketing with immediate effect.
Stewart joins Frontier from Google, where he specialised in digital marketing, brand and strategy for Google's top games industry clients including Activision, EA, Ubisoft and Wargaming as Games Industry Manager for the Media & Entertainment Sector.
Prior to his work for Google, Stewart was at both WPP and InterPublic Group where he ran global B2B and B2C campaigns for the technology industry which included several Nokia, Oracle and Fujitsu Siemens product lines. He also acted as a digital insights specialist to the Nokia Helsinki retail team for online marketing and POS strategy.
A digital marketing, branding, technology and games expert, Stewart's skills will further strengthen Frontier's marketing team as the Company scales up the number and frequency of franchise releases.
David Walsh, Chief Operations Officer of Frontier, commented:
