                Directorate Change and Timing of Strategy Update



The board of Debt Free Direct is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon
Gilbert to the board as a Non-executive Director with effect from today.

Simon Gilbert, aged 37, is Investment Principal at Hanover Investors, a
significant shareholder in Debt Free Direct with a stake of 18%.


Commenting on the appointment, Mike Blackburn, Chairman said:


'Simon's experience in business strategy and mergers and acquisitions will be
valuable to the Group as it continues to broaden its range of activities. I
warmly welcome his appointment.'

There is no further information, in relation to Mr Gilbert's appointment, which
is required to be disclosed pursuant to AIM Rule 17

The Company is also pleased to announce that it will update investors with the
results of an ongoing strategic review, alongside the interim results, in
November.  This review will address the changes and opportunities arising in the
rapidly evolving debt solutions sector and ensure the Company is well-positioned
to take advantage of these opportunities.
