Paul Clarke sets retirement date
Finance Director designate appointed
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. ("Fuller's"), London's last remaining traditional
family brewer, today announces that, after almost 17 years with the Company,
Finance Director Paul Clarke will retire at the end of April 2008. James Douglas
will be appointed to the Board as Finance Director Designate, with effect from
September 10, 2007.
Having joined Fuller's as Finance Director in July 1991, Paul Clarke has been a
valuable member of the team which has advanced the Group in all trading areas,
with London Pride becoming the UK's best selling premium cask ale.
During his time at Fuller's, Paul oversaw the Group's move to the Main Market of
the London Stock Exchange in 1996 and was actively involved in the acquisition
of George Gale & Co. Ltd in 2005 and its subsequent integration. In addition,
Paul has represented the Company on the Technical and Executive Committees of
the Quoted Companies Alliance.
Michael Turner, Chairman of Fuller's, said: "Paul has been a great asset to

James Douglas - Finance Director Designate
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. is pleased to announce the intended appointment of
James Douglas to the Board with effect from September 10, 2007 as Finance
Director Designate.
James, 41, will bring a great breadth of finance, banking and commercial
experience to Fuller's.
James joins Fuller's from LSE-listed telecoms operator Fibernet Group plc,
recently acquired by Global Crossing, where he was Finance Director. Before
Fibernet, he spent over eight years as an investment banker with Deutsche Bank
after spending six years with Cable & Wireless. James qualified as a
prize-winning Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a first
degree in Physics and a Masters degree in Economics.
Mr. Douglas has no other company directorships and there are no further details
required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
Michael Turner said: "James brings a wealth of experience to the Board, and I am
confident he will be a great addition to the team."
