Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons

On 24 September 1999, Regent Capital Trust Corporation Limited ('Regent') the
Trustee of the Fuller Smith & Turner PLC Employee Share Trust 1998 (the
'Trust') purchased 22,152 'A' Ordinary Shares in Fuller Smith & Turner PLC at
a price of 623p.  The Trust is a discretionary Trust for the benefit of such
employees (including the Directors) of Fuller Smith & Turner PLC as the
Trustee may decide to benefit.
