NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

The Company received a notification today from AEGON Asset Management UK plc
informing it that following the announcement by the Company on 26 February 2003
regarding the purchase of its own securities, the notifiable interest of the
AEGON UK plc Group of Companies has increased through a whole percentage
barrier. They hold 539,087 shares representing 4.07% of the issued "A" ordinary
share capital of the Company.
