Purchase of own shares

The Company announces that it has today purchased for holding as treasury
100,000 "A" Ordinary shares of £1 each at a price of £7.50.

The issued share capital is currently 13,157,246 shares, which includes 295,745
treasury shares.

For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the market
should exclude any shares held in treasury, giving an issued share capital of
12,861,501 shares.
