Futura Medical plc (the Company) received notification on 1 August 2007 that, as
of close of business on 31 July 2007, Allianz Cornhill Insurance PLC now has a
notifiable interest in the Company of 4,428,835 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence
each, which represents approximately 8.00 per cent of the Company's current
issued share capital.


As of 31 July 2007, the Company's issued share capital was 55,353,601 Ordinary
Shares.
