Notification of Admission to Listing of 195,652 New Ordinary Shares
The Future Network plc (LSE: FNET) announces that 195,652 New Ordinary Shares
of 1 pence each have been issued to John Bowman on 3 October 2001. As
described in the prospectus sent to shareholders and dated 28 September 2001,
this issue is made in satisfaction of a non-recurring bonus entitlement of
£75,000. The number of shares have been calculated by dividing the amount of
this bonus, after deduction of tax and national insurance, by the closing
middle-market share price of a Future share on 1 October 2001, being 23 pence.
The 195,652 New Ordinary Shares issued to Mr Bowman will entitle Mr Bowman
to subscribe an additional 234,782 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the terms
of the rights issue announced by the Company on 28 September 2001, at a price
of 20p per New Ordinary Share. Mr Bowman has undertaken to the Company to
take up these rights in full. Consequently, the number of New Ordinary Shares
to be issued pursuant to the Rights Issue announced by the Company on 28
September 2001 will be up to 173,389,092 New Ordinary Shares. Application has
been made for the 195,652 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official
List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. Admission of the 195,652
New Ordinary Shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange's market for listed securities will take place on 10 October 2001.
