              Appointment of Seb Bishop as non-executive Director

The board of Future plc, the international special-interest media group, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Seb Bishop (33) as an independent
non-executive Director with effect from 14 June 2007.

Seb Bishop is President of MIVA, the NASDAQ-listed global online advertising
network formed following the merger of Espotting Media and FindWhat.com in 2004.
In 2000 he co-founded Espotting Media which pioneered search marketing and
pay-per-click advertising in Europe. He successfully expanded the business
across Europe before merging with US-based FindWhat.com in 2004 in a deal which
valued Espotting at $186m.

He is also Chairman of Steak Media Limited, one of the UK's fastest-growing
search engine marketing agencies and sits on the board of Adjug Limited, a new
online advertising exchange in Europe.
