Board of Directors

The Future Network plc, the international specialist consumer magazine
publisher, announces today the resignation from the board of Elisabeth Murdoch,
who joined the board as a non-executive director in September 2000.

Future's Chairman, Roger Parry, commented: 'Elisabeth brought valuable counsel
and insight to Future's business, which was especially useful last year.
Although we shall miss Elisabeth's contributions, we wish her every success with
her own business, Shine Limited.'

Elisabeth Murdoch said: 'I found the experience of serving on the board of
Future Network more than worthwhile and I very much enjoyed working with my
fellow directors.  Future is now in a much stronger position and this is the
right time for me to concentrate on my other business interests.  Chief among
these is the management of Shine Limited, which is successfully building a
robust and rapidly growing independent television and film production business.'



Committee Membership

The board has today reviewed the membership of the Remuneration Committee, which
was chaired by Elisabeth Murdoch, and has decided to appoint independent
non-executive director, Michael Penington, as Chairman of the Remuneration
Committee.
