             Appointment of Marketforce as UK magazine distributor


Following its earlier announcement today relating to its change of magazine
distribution arrangements in UK, The Future Network plc ('Future'), the
international magazine Group, announces that its UK subsidiary, Future
Publishing Ltd, has appointed Marketforce (UK) Limited ('Marketforce') as its UK
magazine distributor with effect from May 2004.

Marketforce are the UK's market leader in magazine marketing, distribution and
sales. They provide a complete range of quality services for IPC Media and an
impressive list of 'blue-chip' independent companies such as Hachette Filipacchi
UK Ltd, Rodale, Puzzler Media , Hello and Reed Business Information.

Commenting on the move, Future Chief Executive Greg Ingham said:  'We are
delighted that Marketforce will be handling our magazine distribution. Having
the benefit of their scale and experience will help our UK business.'
