Galliford Try PLC 27 October 2004 GALLIFORD TRY SECURES £91 MILLION IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is pleased to announce that the total affordable housing workload secured by the group since the start of its new financial year in July has reached £91 million. This follows the receipt, by a partnership between its subsidiary Midas Homes, North Cornwall District Council, Westcountry Housing Association and the Guinness Trust, of a resolution to grant planning permission for 173 housing units, including 59 homes for sale, at Bude in Cornwall. This workload also includes contracts awarded under agreements with the Devon and Cornwall and the Toynbee Housing Association, with whom the group completed a 105 unit mixed scheme at Maryland Point in Stratford in the last financial year.
