Board and Committee Changes

Galliford Try, one of the UK's leading construction groups, confirms that Jeremy Townsend, Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee, will as previously announced on 6 July 2020, step down from the Board and leave the Group on 30 September 2020.

Marisa Cassoni, Non-executive Director and current Chair of the Remuneration Committee will assume the role of Chair of the Audit Committee, on Jeremy's departure.  Marisa is a chartered accountant with more than 40 years' experience as a finance professional.

Terry Miller, Senior Independent Non-executive Director, will become Chair of the Remuneration Committee replacing the current chair, Marisa Cassoni.  Terry was previously interim Chair of the Remuneration Committee between November 2017 and February 2019.

Peter Ventress, Chairman, commented: "It has been a pleasure to work with Jeremy who has served on the Board of Galliford Try since 1 September 2017. On behalf of the Group, I would like to thank Jeremy for his service and valuable contributions as a director and Chair of the Audit Committee. We wish Jeremy the best for the future."
