PURCHASE OF SHARES BY THE GALLIFORD TRY EMPLOYEE SHARE TRUST
Galliford Try plc (the 'Company') announces that on 30th October 2006 the
Galliford Try Employee Share Trust purchased 900,000 ordinary shares of 5p each
in the Company ('shares') at a price of 131.25p. The said shares were purchased
to meet the future maturing options under the Company's share-based long term
incentive plans. Following the purchase, the Galliford Try Employee Share Trust
now holds 2,999,311 shares.
Each of the executive directors of the Company is a potential beneficiary under
the Galliford Try Employee Share Trust and therefore in accordance with section
329 Companies Act 1985, is regarded as having a notional interest in the
Galliford Try Employee Share Trust holding of 2,999,311 shares.
