PURCHASE OF SHARES BY THE GALLIFORD TRY EMPLOYEE SHARE TRUST
Galliford Try plc (the 'Company') announces that the Galliford Try Employee
Share Trust on 20 December 2007 purchased 1,150,000 ordinary shares of 5p each
in the Company ('shares') at an average price of 98.185p and on 21 December 2007
purchased 1,350,000 shares at an average price of 101.66p. The said shares
(representing approximately 0.66% of the Company's issued share capital) were
purchased to meet the future maturing options under the Company's share-based
long term incentive plans. Following the purchase, the Galliford Try Employee
Share Trust now holds shares 5,365,475 shares (representing approximately 1.42%
of the Company's issued share capital).
