                            NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS


Galliford Try plc confirms that, as announced on 11 September 2003, Hugh Try
retired as a non executive director of the Company on 31 December 2003 and
Jonathan Dawson has been appointed a non executive director with effect from 1
January 2004.  Jonathan Dawson will also become Chairman of the Audit Committee
and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination committees of the board.
