DIRECTORATE CHANGES
As announced on 8 February as part of the Company's interim results, the
Company's new board structure, reorganised to take account of the significant
increase in the size of its business following the acquisitions of Morrison
Construction, Chartdale Homes and Linden Holdings, took effect on 31 March 2007.
The Board of Directors of Galliford Try plc now comprises the four existing non
executive directors, David Calverley, Chairman; Chris Bucknall, Deputy Chairman;
Jonathan Dawson and Amanda Burton together with the Chief Executive, Greg
Fitzgerald, and Finance Director, Frank Nelson. Richard Barraclough continues as
Company Secretary. Andy Sturgess and Ken Gillespie have consequently stepped
down from the board today.
The Group's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees are unchanged.
The Group's new executive board, responsible to the main board for the executive
management of the Group, and chaired by the Chief Executive, now comprises:
Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive
Frank Nelson, Finance Director
Andy Sturgess, Managing Director Building Division
Ken Gillespie, Managing Director Infrastructure Division
Ian Baker, Managing Director South West and Eastern Housebuilding Division
Richard Barraclough, Company Secretary and Legal Director
Chris Coates, Managing Director South East Housebuilding Division
