Galliford Try PLC 14 August 2007 GALLIFORD TRY ACHIEVES FINANCIAL CLOSE FOR £100 MILLION SOUTH EAST ESSEX LIFT Galliford Try plc, the construction and house building group, today announced that, as part of the gbprimarycare Ltd consortium with Assura Property, it has achieved financial close on a 25 year framework partnering agreement for construction services with South East Essex LIFT. The first tranche of the long term framework is estimated to be worth £26 million with the potential to fund and develop up to £100 million of health and social care facilities across the South East Essex region. The first project is an £8.3 million state-of-the-art primary care centre on Canvey Island which is due to become operational in November 2008. Galliford Try is now delivering five LIFT schemes across the country from the South East to the North West of England.
