              Completion of the Acquisition of Linden Holdings PLC

                       and Related Placing and Open Offer

           of 100,230,056 New Ordinary Shares at 150 pence per share

Galliford Try announces that, following the Admission earlier today of
100,230,056 New Ordinary Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority
and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities
becoming effective, the acquisition of Linden has now been successfully
completed.

The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning given to
them in the Prospectus published by the Company dated 8 February 2007.
