GALLIFORD TRY SELECTED FOR £150 MILLION PFI EDUCATION CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, today announced
that in consortium with Babcock & Brown and facilities manager Amey BPO Services
it has been selected as preferred bidder for a PFI education project by
Northamptonshire County Council. The project will involve Galliford Try building
six completely new schools together with refurbishment and extensions to a
further 41 primary and secondary schools over a two year period with a total
construction value of £150 million.
David Calverley, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, commented:

on their major initiative to improve the schools in their area.
This project, one of the largest in PFI education, builds on our track record
with multi school PFI programmes and reinforces our objective of being a major
