GALLIFORD TRY SECURES £500 MILLION THAMES WATER FRAMEWORK
Galliford Try plc, the housebuilding and construction Group, announces that it has, in joint venture, been appointed as contractor by Thames Water initially for over £100m worth of work and potentially up to £500m worth under their AMP5 frameworks for the next five years.
The process contract to upgrade water and waste water treatment facilities in both the north and south London regions will be carried out in joint venture with Biwater and Mott MacDonald. Meanwhile, the network contract to improve water pipelines and sewers in south London will be carried out in joint venture with Morrison Utility Services.
Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, commented:
"We are delighted to extend our relationship with Thames Water as one of its delivery partners. This appointment adds to the AMP5 frameworks we have already renewed with five other water clients and underlines our position as a leading contractor to the UK water industry."
