GALLIFORD TRY JOINT VENTURE SECURES £36 MILLION WATER PROJECT
Galliford Try, the housebuilding and construction group, announces that it has, in joint venture with Imtech Process, been awarded a contract worth a total of £36m from Anglian Water. Under the contract Galliford Try and Imtech will construct a new water treatment works in Lincolnshire.
Situated on a greenfield site near Newton-on-Trent in Lincolnshire, the new works will use an innovative combination of processes that will enable water from the River Trent to be treated at a downstream location for the first time. The scheme includes a large raw water reservoir and over 12km of pipelines.
