GALLIFORD TRY APPOINTED TO COLCHESTER REGENERATION SCHEME
Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is pleased to
announce that it has been selected by English Partnerships as its preferred
development partner for the Turner Village regeneration scheme in Colchester,
Essex.
The scheme, which will be constructed on a 24 acre site, will provide 430 new
homes of which 107 will be affordable. The homes will be built to be extremely
environmentally friendly, achieving an Eco Homes rating of 'Excellent'.
Construction works are expected to commence in late summer 2007.
Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said:
'This award underlines Galliford Try's strengths in the regeneration and
affordable housing sectors, which continue to provide good opportunities for
growth. We are delighted to be working with English Partnerships in Colchester
which, following Camborne in Cornwall, is the second major project awarded to us
by English Partnerships in 2006.'
