Galliford Try PLC 21 June 2007 GALLIFORD TRY APPOINTED TO £50 MILLION ANGLIAN WATER PROJECT Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is pleased to announce that, in joint venture with Imtech Process, it has been appointed by Anglian Water as preferred bidder for the Wing Water Treatment Works in Northamptonshire. The project, which will cost around £50 million and is Anglian Water's largest single capital project in its current asset management programme AMP4, comprises the design, construction and commisioning of a standalone extension to the existing Water Treatment Works. Once completed, it will represent a 30% increase in throughput and serve people in the Peterborough, Corby, Northampton and Kettering areas. The project also involves the construction of two major pumping stations. Mott McDonald is Project Engineer and Earthtech is the specialist process design sub-contractor. Work will commence in January 2008 and is expected to complete in December 2009.
