Games Workshop Group PLC ('the Company')

On 10 May 2005, Games Workshop Employee Share Trust (on the direction of Games
Workshop Trustee Limited) acquired 37,067 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary
Shares') at a price of 405p per share.  These Ordinary Shares were acquired in
the normal course of business to meet the Games Workshop Employee Share Trust's
obligations in respect of the Games Workshop Group PLC Share Incentive Plan.
Messrs C J Myatt, N J Donaldson and M Sherwin, directors of the Company, are
directors of Games Workshop Trustee Limited.

As a result of this purchase, Games Workshop Trustee Limited is interested in
327,409 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.05 per cent. of the Company's issued
share capital.
