Games Workshop Group PLC ('the Company')
The Company received notification today from AMVESCAP PLC ('AMVESCAP') that,
as a result of the purchase of 290,000 ordinary shares on 2 August 2000,
AMVESCAP and subsidiary companies on behalf of discretionary clients are
interested in a total of 4,193,546 ordinary shares representing 13.39 per
cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

INVESCO English and International Trust plc - 1,261,205 ordinary shares (4.02

Both of these holdings are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited.
