(the 'Company')
The Company received notification on 16 March 2006 that Fidelity Investments
Limited ('FIL') on behalf of Fidelity International Limited and its direct and
indirect subsidiaries, including Fidelity Investment Services Ltd ('FISL'),
Fidelity Gestion ('FIGEST'), Fidelity Investments Advisory (Korea) Limited ('FIA
(K)L'), Fidelity Investments Management (Hong Kong) Limited ('FIMHK'), Fidelity
Pension Management ('FPM'), Fidelity Investments Japan ('FIJ') and Fidelity
Investments International ('FII'), have an interest in 3,121,229 ordinary shares
of 5 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') which are held in portfolios
managed on a discretionary basis for clients of FIL under investment management
agreements. Included in this figure are:
(i) 278,681 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FPM, and registered or
to be registered in the name of Citibank London,
(ii) 213,153 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FPM, and registered
or to be registered in the name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth,
(iii) 89,025 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FPM, and registered
or to be registered in the name of Bank of New York Brussels,
(iv) 5,516 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FISL, and registered or
to be registered in the name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth,
(v) 2,276,069 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FIL, and registered
or to be registered in the name of Brown Bros Harriman Ltd Lux,
(vi) 151,606 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FIL, and registered
or to be registered in the name of State Street Bank and Trust Co London, and
(vii) 107,179 Ordinary Shares held by an affiliated company FIJ, and registered
or to be registered in the name of Brown Brothers Harriman and Co,
FIL and their affiliated companies are therefore interested in 3,121,229
Ordinary Shares in aggregate, representing approximately 10.03 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.
This notification is made:
(a) in respect of FIL's interest as investment managers, and
(b) on behalf of Fidelity Investment Limited, which is treated as having an
interest in all of the above shares under the Act by virtue of its ownership of
FISL, FIGEST, FIA(K)L, FIMHK, FPM, FIJ and FII.
