                          GB Group Plc (the 'Company')

                   Exercise of Options and Additional Listing


The Company announces today that an employee of the Company has exercised
options over a total of 35,000 ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company
('Shares') under the Company's Executive Share Option Scheme. The exercise price
of the options were as follows:

   • 15,000 shares at 11.75 pence per share; and
   • 20,000 shares at 14.25 pence per share


Accordingly, an application has been made for 35,000 new Shares to be admitted
to the Official List of the UKLA and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's
market for listed securities and the listing is expected to take place on 13
January 2006.

Following this listing application the number of shares in issue will be
81,366,202.
