                          GB Group Plc (the 'Company')

                   Exercise of Options and Additional Listing

The Company has announced today that it has received requests from a number of
current employees who wish to exercise their options under the Company's Savings
Related Share Scheme ('the Scheme'). The total number of shares over which
options will be exercised is 736,096 ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the
Company. The exercise price of the options is 7.6 pence per share

Accordingly, an application has been made for 736,096 new Shares to be admitted
to the Official List of the UKLA and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's
market for listed securities and the listing is expected to take place on 30
June 2005.

Following this listing application the number of shares in issue will be
80,864,177.
