Notes to Editors
About GB Group:
1. GB Group is a Customer Relationship Management ('CRM') and data
software and consultancy company based in Chester.
2. GB Group's products and services enable clients to:
• run their businesses better, more efficiently and more
cost effectively. In turn, they enjoy significant competitive advantage through
the identification of customer and market opportunities before their rivals; and
• implement successful data strategies and improve the
quality and accuracy of the data of their customers.
In addition, GB Group is now broadening its data services into complimentary
areas to analyse and manage non-customer data on behalf of customers such as
AstraZeneca.
3. Critical to the process of building lasting relationships with their
customers, clients are provided with all of their data needs by GB Group's four
data solutions of DataCapture, DataCare, DataInsight and DataManagement.
O DataCapture
Software used for rapid individual name, address and telephone number
verification and capture. From a simple postcode and house number, GB Group's
clients can confirm their customers' full name, address and telephone number,
rapidly speeding up customer services.
O DataCare
A powerful analysis service for describing, understanding and predicting
customer behaviour. By knowing customer preferences and monitoring their
behaviour in detail, GB Group's clients enjoy the advantage of knowing which are
their best customers both today and tomorrow.
O DataManagement
Sophisticated cleansing, appending and suppression services for accurate
up-to-date customer data. Customer data decays every day as the UK population
moves home and changes their contact details. GB Group helps clients reach their
customers accurately each time.
O DataInsight
Highly specialised services for tailored database design, development and
hosting. When the challenge of managing huge databases becomes too much and a
strain on resources, GB Group's clients outsource the daily management of their
customer databases, taking advantage of GB Group's experience and
infrastructure.
4. GB Group's customers include: Standard Life, Bristol & West Building
Society, Stena Line, AstraZeneca, Bank of Ireland, npower, WHSmith - plus many
government agencies, such as HM Customs & Excise, National Criminal Intelligence
Service and the National Crime Squad.
