Notification of Director's Interest in the Share Capital of GB Group plc

GB Group plc (the 'Company') hereby gives notice of the following purchase of
shares by a director of the Company on 19 March 2002:

Richard Law, Chief Executive, purchased 110,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of
9.0 pence per share.  His total beneficial holding of 217,604 Ordinary Shares
represents 0.27% of the issued share capital of the Company.  Prior to this
announcement, Mr Law held 107,604 Ordinary Shares, which represented 0.14% of
the issued share capital of the Company.
