Directorate Change
GBG (AIM: GBG), the global identity data intelligence specialist, today announces that Charmaine Carmichael, who has served as a Non-Executive Director of GBG since January 2014, has given notice that she will be standing down from the GBG Board with effect from 30 August 2020.
Charmaine's decision comes as result of her taking up a new, full-time executive role outside of GBG such that she will not have enough time to commit fully to her non-executive obligations.
Commenting on today's announcement, David Rasche, GBG's Chairman said:
"On behalf of the Board I want to thank Charmaine for her significant contribution during her time at GBG. Her tenure has covered a period of major growth and development for GBG and throughout this time her support and advice has been truly valued.
We are also grateful for her stewardship as Chair of GBG's Remuneration Committee. The high standards of governance that we strive for have been recognised by the positive engagement we receive from shareholders.
Personally and on behalf of the Board I wish her all the very best for the future."
The Board will keep the Market updated in due course of developments in its search for a further non-executive director.
As indicated in the GBG's recent annual report and accounts, the post of Remuneration Chair passed from Charmaine to Natalie Gammon at the conclusion of the recent AGM.
