GB Group Secures Government Department Contract

London - 11 June 2010 GB Group has been awarded a contract by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to match a number of different data sets to associate energy consumption and property characteristics of domestic and non-domestic property consolidating data on the energy consumption and carbon emissions of households and commercial properties across England and Wales.

According to Richard Law, GB's CEO, "This contract is a real testament to the expertise of our staff. Our ability to identify properties and their characteristics is unique in the UK.  It's great to be part of a project that will contribute to greater energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions."
