TelMe Group plc ('the Company') received notification on 18 December 2001 that 
the Newton UK Small Companies Exempt Fund's interest in the Ordinary 2.5p Shares
of the Company has fallen below the notification level of 3% of the issued share
capital of the Company.

Newton UK Small Companies Exempt Fund is a managed fund of Newton Investment 
Management Limited.
