               NOTICE OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES OF GB GROUP PLC

GB Group (the 'Company') today announces that following a purchase of shares on
21 February 2008, William Christopher Currie has an interest in 4,670,000
ordinary shares of 2.5p in the Company which represents 5.55% of the issued
share capital of the Company.

The Company also announces that with effect from 21 February 2008, Eaglet
Investment Trust Plc no longer has a notifiable interest in the shares of the
Company.
