                NOTICE OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES OF GB GROUP PLC

GB Group received notification yesterday that, following a purchase of 350,000 
shares (representing 0.43% of the Company's issued share capital), the Universities 
Superannuation Scheme Limited now has an interest in 5,890,000 ordinary shares of 
2.5p, representing 7.24% of the issued share capital of the Company. These shares 
are registered as UK Smaller Companies registered under Chase Nominees Ltd (USS).
