                             Result of AGM and EGM

The Board of Glencar Mining plc is pleased to announce that all resolutions
proposed for consideration at the Company's Annual General Meeting, and at the
Company's Extraordinary General Meeting, each held today in Dublin, were
approved.

The Chief Executive, Mr. Hugh McCullough, said at the meeting that he looked
forward to a new and positive chapter in the company's development.
