GCP Infra today announces that it has made an application for 590,650 Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each fully paid in the Company ("New Shares") to be admitted to the Premium Listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities. It is expected that these New Shares will be admitted to trading on 6 September 2022.
The application is being made pursuant to the scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash for the interim dividend for the period from 1 April 2022 to 30 June 2022. Elections for a scrip dividend were received in respect of 4.30% of the Ordinary Shares in issue as at the record date of 5 August 2022. When issued, these New Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.
Following admission of the New Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 884,797,669 Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each. With effect from 6 September 2022, the total number of issued shares with voting rights will be 884,797,669.
The above figure of 884,797,669 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or of a change to their interest in, GCP Infra under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
