The Company announces that it has today applied for 92,334 Ordinary Shares of
10p to be admitted to trading on AIM. These shares were acquired by the Genus
QUEST Trustees Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genus plc and are intended
to be used to satisfy options exercised in due course under the Genus 2000
Savings Related Share Option Scheme.



Dealings are expected to commence in the new ordinary shares on Monday 8th April
2002.
