Director's Shareholding
Options over 15,600 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary
Shares'), held by Richard Wood, were exercised at 50 pence per Ordinary Share on
6th March 2006.
These options represented a small quantity of residual share options granted on
21st March 1997, to the Chief Executive of the Company, under the approved
option scheme for which block listing arrangements are in place. These had
become short-dated.
13,635 Ordinary Shares were sold on behalf of Richard Wood, Chief Executive, and
1,965 Ordinary Shares were sold on behalf of Mrs Nancy Wood, on 6th March 2006.
These Ordinary Shares were sold at 482.5 pence per Ordinary Share. The options
have been exercised to satisfy market demand.
As a consequence Richard Woods' direct shareholding now stands at 59,400
Ordinary Shares which represents 0.1% of issued share capital. In addition, he
remains the beneficial owner of 470,354 options and conditional shares.
