Issue of equity
Application has been made for the admission to trading on AIM of 333,812
Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Genus plc ('the Company') on 20 June 2005.
The shares were issued pursuant to the exercise of share options by certain
employees of the Company under option schemes for which no block listing
arrangements are in place.
Of this number, 89,800 shares were placed on behalf of Richard Wood, who has
exercised his options at 175p per share. All of the shares issued have been
sold to satisfy institutional demand, therefore Richard Woods' shareholding of
59,400 remains unchanged.
The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
issued share capital of the Company.
Trading is due to commence in these shares on Friday 24 June 2005.
