Board change

26 September 2012, Glanbia plc ('Glanbia'), the global nutritional solutions and cheese Group,  announces with regret that Kevin Toland has today  given notice of his resignation from the Board of Glanbia and as Chief Executive Officer and President of Glanbia USA and Global Nutritionals. Kevin's decision is personal and reflects his desire to live full time in Ireland.  He will step down at the end of the year to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer of Dublin Airport Authority ("DAA"). The existing Chief Executive Officers and strong management teams in US Cheese & Global Nutritionals will continue to run these businesses.

Commenting today, John Moloney, Group Managing Director said:

"Kevin has made an excellent contribution to the growth of our US Cheese & Global Nutritionals businesses. His commitment to the success of Glanbia has been a hallmark of his career with the Group and we are disappointed that he will not be part of the next exciting phase for the business. I fully understand his decision and wish him and his family every success and happiness in the future."

 Kevin Toland added:

"It has been a great pleasure for me to be part of the transformation of Glanbia over the past 13 years.  The US Cheese & Global Nutritionals businesses have consistently demonstrated strong growth and delivered excellent returns for shareholders. I believe the team we have built to run these businesses will continue to perform strongly and I wish all my colleagues and fellow Board members continued success."
