12 June 2015 - Glanbia plc ('Glanbia' or the "Company"), the global performance nutrition and ingredients group, today appointed Mr. Henry Corbally as Chairman. Mr. Corbally succeeds Mr. Liam Herlihy, who retired as Chairman and Director of the Company on 12 May 2015. Mr. Corbally has been Vice-Chairman of the Board since 26 May 2011.

The Board also appointed Mr. Patrick Murphy as one of the two Vice-Chairmen of Glanbia plc in succession to Mr. Corbally. The other Vice-Chairman of Glanbia plc is Mr. Martin Keane who continues in that role.  

The Board of Glanbia plc also announces the appointment of three new Non-Executive Directors, Mr. Patsy Ahern, Mr. Jim Gilsenan and Mr. Patrick Hogan effective today, as nominees of Glanbia Cooperative Society Ltd.

Mr. Ahern today on his appointment notified the Company, pursuant to Chapter 5 of Part 5 of the Companies Act 2014, that he is interested in 3,726 ordinary shares of €0.06 each in the Company.

Mr. Gilsenan today on his appointment notified the Company, pursuant to Chapter 5 of Part 5 of the Companies Act 2014, that he is interested in 4,549 ordinary shares of €0.06 each in the Company.

Mr. Hogan today on his appointment notified the Company, pursuant to Chapter 5 of Part 5 of the Companies Act 2014, that he is interested in 7,020 ordinary shares of €0.06 each in the Company.

Messrs. Ahern, Gilsenan and Hogan have notified the Company that they have no details to be disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.7, Chapter 6 of the Irish Listing Rules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules.
