Glanbia plc Board changes
30 January 2020 - Glanbia plc ("Glanbia", the "Company", the "plc"), the global nutrition group, announces the following changes to its Board of Directors.
Mr Richard Laube has advised the Company of his intention to step down from the Board with effect from 28 February 2020 for family and personal reasons. A process to identify a new Independent Non-Executive Director will commence with immediate effect.
In addition, the Company announces that Non-Executive Directors Jer Doheny and Eamon Power, nominated to the plc Board by Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited (the "Society"), will retire from the plc Board at the forthcoming AGM on 22 April 2020.
As previously disclosed, in accordance with the Relationship Agreement between the Company and Glanbia Co-Operative Society, in 2020 the number of directors nominated by the Society will reduce from eight to seven and in 2022 the number of directors nominated by the Society will reduce to six. Replacement(s) will be announced in due course.
